Interface SettingList
- All Superinterfaces:
AutoCloseable, Closeable, OsidList, OsidList
Like all OsidLists , SettingList provides a means for
accessing Setting elements sequentially either one at a time or
many at a time. Examples:
while (sl.hasNext()) {
Setting setting = sl.getNextSetting();
}
or
while (sl.hasNext()) {
Setting[] settings = sl.getNextSettings(sl.available());
}

getNextSetting
Gets the nextSettingin this list.- Returns:
- the next
Settingin this list. ThehasNext()method should be used to test that a nextSettingis available before calling this method. - Throws:
IllegalStateException- no more elements available in this listOperationFailedException- unable to complete request- Compliance:
mandatory- This method must be implemented.

Gets the next set ofSettingelements in this list. The specified amount must be less than or equal to the return fromavailable().- Parameters:
n- the number ofSettingelements requested which must be less than or equal toavailable()- Returns:
- an array of
Settingelements. The length of the array is less than or equal to the number specified. - Throws:
IllegalStateException- no more elements available in this listOperationFailedException- unable to complete request- Compliance:
