The Open Service Interface Definitions for the org.osid.room.construction service.

The Room Construction OSID relates construction projects to buildings and rooms. These set of services provide a time dimension to capture the physical or architectural changes to space.

Renovations

A Renovation iindicates work has occurred within a building.

Projects

A Project iindicates work has occurred to the building itself. The effective dates of the project indicate the duration of the construction.

Campus Cataloging

Renovations and Projects may be organized into federateable OsidCatalogs of Campuses .

Sub Packages

The Room Construction OSID includes a Room Construction Batch OSID for managing projects in bulk.
