Package org.osid.topology.path
The Open Service Interface Definitions for the org.osid.topology.path service.
The Topology Path OSID provides defines a service to manage paths through a topology of nodes.
Paths
Paths are OsidRelationships with a starting an ending
Node . A Path is created by adding and removing
Edges .
Graph Cataloging
Paths can be organized into hierarchical OsidCatalogs of
Graphs .

Pathrepresents a means between two nodes. This session creates, updates, and deletesPaths. This is the form for creating and updatingPaths.Like allOsidFormobjects, various data elements may be set here for use in the create and update methods in thePathAdminSession. This session provides methods to re-assignPathstoGraphobjects.This session provides methods to retrievePathtoGraphmappings.Like allOsidLists,PathListprovides a means for accessingPathelements sequentially either one at a time or many at a time. This session provides methods for retrievingPathobjects. This session defines methods to receive notifications on adds/changes toPathobjects in thisGraph. This is the query for searching paths. This is the query inspector for examining path queries. This session provides methods for searching amongPathobjects. The path receiver is the consumer supplied interface for receiving notifications pertaining to new, updated or deletedPathobjects. The search interface for governing path searches. An interface for specifying the ordering of search results. This interface provides a means to capture results of a search. This session provides methods for searching amongPathobjects. This session manages queries and sequencing to create "smart" dynamic catalogs. The topology manager provides access to topology path sessions and provides interoperability tests for various aspects of this service. The topology profile describes the interoperability among topology path services. The topology manager provides access to topology path sessions and provides interoperability tests for various aspects of this service.
