Interface TypeList
- All Superinterfaces:
AutoCloseable, Closeable, OsidList, OsidList
Like all OsidLists , TypeList provides a means for
accessing Type elements sequentially either one at a time or many
at a time. Examples:
while (tl.hasNext()) {
Type type = tl.getNextType();
}
or
while (tl.hasNext()) {
Type[] types = tl.getNextTypes(tl.available());
}

getNextType
Gets the nextTypein this list.- Returns:
- the next
Typein this list. ThehasNext()method should be used to test that a nextTypeis available before calling this method. - Throws:
IllegalStateException- no more elements available in this listOperationFailedException- unable to complete request- Compliance:
mandatory- This method must be implemented.

Gets the next set ofTypesin this list. The specified amount must be less than or equal to the return fromavailable().- Parameters:
n- the number ofTypeelements requested which must be less than or equal toavailable()- Returns:
- an array of
Typeelements. The length of the array is less than or equal to the number specified. - Throws:
